Kaaba or Caaba-A cube-shaped building without windows in the courtyard of the Masque in MECCA. It is thought to have been built by the PROPHET ABRAHAM, and contains a Black Stone, which as purportedly given to Abraham by the angel GABRIEL.
Kamadeva-The Indian god of yearning and desire and has power over the sensual domain of animals, including man.
Kama Sutra-The teachings of the HINDU god of erotic love, Kama. It involves explicit instructions of the art of sexual intercourse. See also TANTRA.
Karma-The impersonal force surrounding a person's actions. SPIRITUAL merits. Thoughts and actions that shape one's future. Karma is usually thought to affect one's future life, and consists of cumulative consequences of a person's acts and their ethical consequences. Literally cause and effect, which means that every good deed produces positive results, and negative actions bring negative results (you reap what you sow). It is said to affect everything in the universe.
Karmic Bond-A deep attachment between two SOULS from past INCARNATIONS that presents itself in a present life.
Karmic Debt-A debt of good deeds that are owed in the present life for deeds that were done in a past life.
Kahuna (Kahoona) -The Hawaiian SHAMAN, or transmitter of secrets.
Katchina or Kachina (Ka-CHEENA)-A doll that represents a SPIRIT GUIDE or a helper, usually associated with a SPIRIT who helps bring rain (and therefore a fruitful mother earth) to the Hopi Indians. It also said to give strength to anyone who impersonates the doll.
Kathopathic-One of two ways of approaching the path to the SACRED. This path uses the imaginative process as a GUIDE to the Light within. However, the path through images traditionally has been less honored than the path through silence (Apopathic) (8). Compare to APOPATHIC.
Kenosis-A principle that CHRIST gave up his DIVINE attributes to experience human suffering.

Kiva-An underground ceremonial chamber among the Hopi Indians that was entered by the use of a ladder in the top of the structure.
